Samba Nosso sings Djavan!
On 5 September 2026, Terreiro Adalu invites you to a special roda de samba with Samba Nosso at Casi Casa in Zurich.
The band will perform well-known songs by Djavan as a Brazilian esquenta — a musical warm-up for his concert in Zurich on 30 September. Expect samba, irresistible rhythms and an evening of singing, dancing and celebrating together.
Samba Nosso is a Brazilian band founded in Geneva and made up of musicians from Brazil. Their different musical backgrounds and influences come together in a distinctive, vibrant sound deeply rooted in samba. Singer Neya Castro adds her voice and stage presence to the energy and musical connection of the instrumentalists. The musicians perform close to the audience, creating a shared atmosphere in which the boundary between stage and crowd disappears.
For this edition of Terreiro Adalu, Samba Nosso celebrates the music of Djavan, combining the richness of his songs with the warmth, spontaneity and energy of a Brazilian roda de samba. For one evening, Casi Casa becomes a little piece of Brazil.
